The 7-C’s of Auto, Home, Health, Life and Business Insurance Providers

As surely as the Earth will rotate to view the Sun tomorrow morning, we can expect changes in our lives. Some events we do not plan for, others we expect but have unintended results. There are ways to take some of the “guesswork” out of life with much risk. Staying healthy and safe is a great foundation, but what happens when life turns?

Starting a long-term relationship with a long-standing insurance agency now can create a safe space for you to grow. The main criteria I look to satisfy in finding a new service provider are as follows;

  • I want to see a Comprehensive service provider. Would you want to take your car to one mechanic for a door, then another for the other door? That would be a waste of time and money. Find an insurance company that covers Auto, Home, Health, Life, Business, and all of your needs.
  • Certification comes in many forms and what I want to see is proof of support from recognized industry institutions and government regulatory bodies. Another form of certification is Consensus. Right now, public consensus is more available than ever. Be aware of jaded or paid reviews and include your friends and family experiences or recommendations.
  • How Consistent are they in the market? Do they know your needs and have they been dealing with them continuously for an extended time? I could throw Customer satisfaction in as if your customers aren’t satisfied, the business will not last.
  • Here is another “C for you, Communication. I need to have easy access to service providers as emergencies are never timely and happen at the worst hour of the day, on popular holidays. I need to know I can get responses rapidly.
  • The last “C” I will throw at you is customization. I want to be able to add services to suit my needs. I should be restricted to package deals that include things I do not need.

Maybe your current story has you as a renter of your home. With the current housing market prices, you are not alone. Generally speaking, a little less than 50% of recorded homes are rented and you need protection from irresponsible landlords and tragic events.

When you add renter’s insurance with your auto provider, both could be less expensive. Likewise; for follow-on indemnity items. Including health, vision, and dental insurance will lower all of them versus their individual costs. Key tip; travel insurance is cheap and a literal lifesaver.

To avoid endless litigation for claims or compensation negotiation, turn to the professionals. Insurance companies wield the weight of their experience and relationships with precision and are masters at protecting their interests. Employ the best.

To recap, the seven “C’s” are Comprehensive, Certification, Consensus, Consistency, Customer satisfaction, Communication, and Customisation. Satisfy these concerns in any insurance agency or other vendor research and set yourself up for an easier time.
